INGREDIENTS:
2 1/2 - 3 lbs. chicken pieces (I use legs and thighs) 3/4 cup flour 3/4 tsp. black pepper 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 to 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp oregano 1/2 tsp paprika 1/2 tbs. poultry seasoning 1/2 a large sweet onion Butter or vegetable oil DIRECTIONS: 1. Rinse chicken parts and pat dry. 2. Combine all remaining ingredients (except onion, butter/oil) in a shallow bowl. 3. Toss chicken in flour mixture to coat. 4. Heat oil or butter in a large skillet. Brown chicken is skillet over medium/high heat until golden on all sides 5. Peel onion. Cut into large slices and place on bottom of slow cooker. 6. Place browned chicken pieces on top of onion. 7. Cover and cook on low or about 4 - 5 hours
